Laura Lee is the founder and director of ToiletRollSG, a nationwide environmental movement recycling toilet rolls across Singapore. Laura was among the top 10 individuals in Singapore conferred the 14th National EcoFriend Award by the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment. At the age of 19, Laura was recognized by NUYOU Magazine as 25 Inspiring Youth Under 25 Pushing for Positive Change. She has been featured in The Straits Times, TodayOnline, Zaobao, MediaCorp, and Channel NewsAsia, and has also received the prestigious Prime Minister's Book Prize, The Lee Hsien Loong Award for Outstanding All-Round Achievement, and The Lee Hsien Loong Award for Outstanding Bicultural Students from Mr. Maliki Osman, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office. She currently attends The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
