As Singapore modernises, many traditional snacks are quietly disappearing from everyday family life. Younger generations recognise global brands more easily than our local heritage snacks, creating a growing cultural disconnect. This project responds to the fading snack culture by designing an interactive roll and catch game that reconnects families through play. By simulating real preparation methods, such as steaming, frying, and chilling , players engage with the craft, effort, and stories behind each snack. The game transforms snack knowledge into a tangible, intergenerational experience, encouraging conversation, shared memories, and appreciation of local food heritage. Through hands-on interaction and storytelling, the project aims to preserve cultural identity while strengthening family bonds in a rapidly changing society.
