Anupam Biswal
Co-Founder @ Last Mile CareAnupam Biswal, a development/ social sector professional who is passionate about resolving complex problems in the themes related to sustainable livelihoods, health and education for the youth and poor/ vulnerable. Currently, he leads the health startup Last Mile Care, India which endeavors to create market place to network service providers and care seekers effectively. Earlier, had led the Nutrition Program in CHAI. He has advocated and implemented POCs for the nutrition sensitive approaches to integrate dietary diversity and food systems to improve nutritional outcomes; by engaging the community-based platforms like SHGs. His professional engagement ranges in different spheres of corporate (like EY, Accenture); IFIs (like WB, ADB) and CSOs wherein he assumed various roles of leadership and program manager; within various government (national & international) projects. He was the key anchor and counted among the few for the policy directions in India like skill development of rural below poverty line youth, PPP models of vocational training implementation across various sectors as state mission, community led total sanitation campaigns and doubling farmers income through entrepreneurship. He led the mentor India campaign in 2016 and also support the initial framework of local standardized health clinics for urban development. Earlier he has also contributed to the women empowerment programs based on community based SHG systems by working in World Bank funded assignments.
