Julian is currently assuming a full-time role that provides business advisory services in the area of risk, ESG and performance to organisations from various industries, including financial services, agriculture, plantation, education, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, aviation, and power and utilities. In his personal capacity, he is passionate about dedicating his time to bring positive impact to the community. He is currently a Global Shaper under the Global Shapers Community - an initiative by World Economic Forum, creating community-focused impact through innovative, sustainable initiatives and collaborations. He also co-founded an organisation that provides pro bono consulting to help social enterprises, startups and NGOs, that are either small scale or impact-driven in strategising their growth and transformation towards sustainability. The aim is to build up the operational resilience and augment their impact towards the environment and/ or society, while simultaneously ensuring their long-term financial sustainability. Moreover, he is also a strong advocate in the advancement of good governance principles as defined in the 17 pillars of UN SDGs. His focus lies particularly in the domains of economic empowerment, sustainable development, education and health, with the aim to foster a better and more sustainable nation.
