Natalie Chung is a leading climate advocate and social entrepreneur, recognised by China Daily and Eco-Business as an impactful youth climate leaders driving change in Asia. At the age of 18, she co-founded V’air, a social enterprise which promotes climate education and sustainable tourism as means to mitigate climate change. At the policy level, Natalie is committed to advancing carbon neutrality in Hong Kong and mainland China. She has been appointed to serve at the Council for Carbon Neutrality and Sustainable Development, Green Tech Fund Assessment Committee, Country and Marine Parks Board of the Hong Kong SAR Government. Natalie holds an MPhil in Environmental Change and Management at University of Oxford as the Esther Yewpick Lee Millennium Scholar, and a Bachelor of Social Science in Geography and Resource Management. She has co-authored two books on hiking and tourism. She was elected as the only Hong Kong representative at the Dr Sylvia Earle Antarctic Climate Expedition 2023, advocating for climate policies at the intersection of ocean conservation alongside 116 renowned marine biologists, climate researchers and policymakers.
